Some designs, like Myrtis, are projects that grow on the long run. The idea came to me in 2020, after talking to ElodieBlueBerry. YarnBySimone was the perfect match for what we had in mind. It might have been quite long for this pattern to be ready, but here it is.
Myrtis is a top-down cardigan, in stockinette stitch, which features a delicate at the waist. Worked using a unique thread of silk/mohair, this garment is drapey, lightweight, and oh so warm. You can however make it using a fingering merino yarn, as long as you get gauge. Our final purpose was to create a classic piece, that could be adorned with a fine embroidery on the shoulders, which can be found on Elodie’s website.
